As a wee family run business, our goal is to spread joy and good vibes in our community. We aim to have a positive impact in downtown Stratford by offering quality gelato and refreshments with healthier options to locals and visitors alike.

We strive to deliver excellent products using quality, whole, fresh ingredients that are organic and sourced locally wherever possible. With a rotating menu of flavours, you can enjoy the classics, find new favourites and keep your taste buds dancing!
We are a friendly, warm, happy space where EVERYONE is welcome.
Our passion for protecting the environment is reflected in our efforts to reduce our impact as much as possible. We are eco-conscious and strive to be green, choosing and offering greener alternatives where we can. All of our cups are compostable or recyclable, gelato spoons are biodegradable, and we use paper straws. We are not perfect, but we try to find that balance and are always looking for ways to do better.
Serving joy and good vibes is our ultimate goal at Angela’s Gelato & Fine Refreshments and we incorporate that in all elements of our business. It feeds our souls to see our customers light up and smile when they take that first bite of gelato or sip that refreshing beverage.
Why Gelato?
In challenging times, there are still opportunities to learn and grow. The pandemic has given us time to reflect on what is truly important. Having moved to Stratford at the end of 2019, Angela had the urge to be part of the community and contribute to it in some way. She always felt that people would love a dedicated gelato shop in town, so when the opportunity arose, she worked to make it a reality.
As an avid traveler, food has always been a priority during her adventures, trying as many delectable treats as countries have to offer. Through her travels to over 20 countries, Angela found that gelato has always been the ultimate treat, at any time of the day. A lighter, healthier option that is bursting with flavour – simply put, it is pure joy. The real treat for Angela is being able to share that love and spread that joy with the community of Stratford.
About Angela
Angela was born and raised in Toronto, and moved to beautiful Stratford at the end of 2019.
As a lover of the arts and especially theatre, Angela has a BA and background in Arts Management from the University of Toronto and is particularly excited to live in a city with North America’s largest repertory theatre in town. Previously, Angela was a dedicated fundraiser for Soulpepper Theatre Company working with corporate sponsors, and before that at the Toronto International Film Festival building up their TIFF Membership program.
She’s always enjoyed helping others and doing something positive for her community in little ways. Craving a change and being new to the town, this wee shop is her way to contribute.
Since opening the shop in early July 2021, its been an absolute pleasure to meet so many amazing, friendly faces from Stratford, those from surrounding communities, the artists, and its visitors. Seeing your joy feeds our soul and really motivates us to keep it up. And although our shop is little, we have BIG dreams to hopefully become one of your favourite annual summer traditions for years to come!
